Transform humble raw materials into an iconic object that marries perfectly form & function.
What’s a Trug?
The name comes from the word Trog, dating back to Anglo-Saxon times, when a ‘Trog’, meaning boat shaped vessel, was used to measure and carry all manner of things. A trug is a shallow oblong basket made of strips of wood. These lightweight, aesthetically pleasing, versatile baskets are very strong. Trugs are traditionally used in the garden for carrying tools, weeds, cuttings, harvesting fruits, vegetables and flowers.
