The mission of The Mill River Folk School is to transform and enrich lives by creating a nurturing, non-competitive, all-welcoming learning environment.  We are dedicated to preserving and passing on the knowledge of traditional, hands-on skills that strengthen and enhance our community.

Vision

The Mill River Folk School strives to see traditional arts, crafts, and skills flourish in a modern world. Together, the making of objects and the creation of practical things of beauty will improve our lives.

Purpose

Our purpose always is to support and maintain the core mission and vision of the folk school philosophy.  To be dedicated to the preservation and development, Instruction, and celebration of regional arts, crafts, and traditional hands-on skills.
