Please consider acquiring travel insurance when booking travel reservations.

Student Cancellation Policy

In recognition of the time and energy instructors invest in preparing for their courses, and to ensure all participants get the best workshop experience, we run our courses in small groups. The goal of our policy is to be fair and flexible for our workshop participants.  Cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to the start of a workshop to receive a refund. Registration and material costs will be refunded, minus a $30 registration fee.  No refunds or credits will be given if a student withdraws for any reason after a workshop begins.

Health & Safety

Each workshop has its own safety precautions. Your instructor will review the specific safety requirements at the start of your workshop and throughout your course. The Mill River Folk School is a rural setting. When visiting the area please take appropriate care and wear comfortable, workshop appropriate clothing, secure shoes and consider your personal needs for a day, or extended stay. Ticks are prevalent in the area, please use non-toxic bug spray.
