Acceptance Policy
The Mill River Folk School is firmly committed to diversity, inclusion, and equity. This will remain one of our most critical goals, ensuring the school supports all students, with no bias, such as color, disability, gender identification, origin, race, religion, sexual orientation or economic status.
All students must be at least 18 years of age, except when noted and advertised as a youth-oriented workshop.
Preserve & Respect Our Learning Environment
The Mill River Folk School maintains a very respected learning environment. We ask all visitors to help protect the health and safety of our community. Visitors must comply with all the protocols outlined in our guidelines, website, registration information, posted signage and staff instructions. We reserve the right to dismiss any student without a refund for behavior that is contrary to the community learning experience. Unsolicited sexual advances will be seen as grounds for immediate dismissal. The Mill River Folk School may refuse admission to anyone with a past of unacceptable behavior.
Drugs & Alcohol
The use of drugs & alcohol at the Mill River Folk School is strictly forbidden; this includes marijuana, as we are tenants on United Church of New Marlborough property. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on campus.
Pet Policy
Pets are not permitted inside the studios at the Mill River Folk School, except for service animals.
Please be aware of and respectful of all wildlife and plants in the area.
